Founded in 2011 by scientist-educator Osato Ojofeitimi, whose life’s work bridges the precision of science with the artistry of Montessori philosophy, Prime Montessori Academy — formerly known as Prime Foundation Montessori — began as a single prepared environment in Miramar, Florida.
It did not grow by expansion, but by excellence.
From that intentional beginning emerged one of Maryland’s most distinguished Montessori academies—a boutique institution renowned for academic mastery, character cultivation, and unwavering authenticity.
Today, Prime stands as a quiet beacon of Montessori fidelity, serving children ages 2 through 12 with devotion to selectivity, scholarship, and distinction. Each child is guided toward the fullest expression of intellect and humanity through environments defined by serenity, depth, and purpose.
